Used Oil India ("Used Oil India", "UOI", "Platform") is a digital platform operated, owned, and controlled by NexG Petrolube Private Limited a company incorporated under the laws of India (hereinafter referred to as the "Company", "we", "us"). All references to "Used Oil India", "UOI", "we", "us" or "the Company" in this Policy shall mean and refer to NexG Petrolube Private Limited, unless the context otherwise requires.

The Platform operates as a technology-enabled aggregation and facilitation system for coordination, scheduling, documentation, compliance tracking, and payment settlement between independent contributors of used cooking oil and used lubricating oil, contractual collection agents, and authorised recyclers.

This Privacy Policy is framed in compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, the Information Technology Act, 2000, and rules made thereunder. By accessing or using the Platform, users expressly acknowledge and consent to the collection, processing, storage, and disclosure of information in accordance with this Policy.

The term 'Platform' includes the Used Oil India website, mobile applications, dashboards, APIs, and other digital interfaces operated by UOI. All references to data collection, processing, storage, disclosure, or security apply across all such interfaces, unless otherwise stated.

In the course of onboarding and use of the Platform, NexG Petrolube Private Limited, operating under the brand Used Oil India, may collect and process limited personal, business, and operational information necessary for lawful platform functioning. Such information may include business identifiers, statutory licences and registrations, details of authorised representatives, compliance and regulatory documentation, transaction and service records, wallet balances, settlement and payment-related data, communication logs, and limited technical information such as IP addresses, device identifiers, browser type, and access timestamps.

The Company adheres to the principle of data minimisation and collects only such information as is reasonably necessary for platform operations, facilitation of services, regulatory alignment, security, dispute resolution, and compliance with applicable laws. Information unrelated to the stated purposes is neither intentionally sought nor retained.

Information collected by Used Oil India Private Limited ("UOI") is processed solely for lawful and legitimate purposes connected with the operation of the Platform, including user onboarding and authentication, verification of statutory licences and authorisations, compliance and traceability tracking, facilitation of transactions, processing and settlement of payments, fraud detection and prevention, internal audit and risk management, resolution of disputes, and compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, and governmental requirements.

UOI does not monetise, sell, license, or trade personal or business data of users and does not process such information for purposes unrelated to Platform operations, except where required or permitted under applicable law.

Information collected by Used Oil India Private Limited ("UOI") may be disclosed, strictly on a need-to-know basis, to banks, NEFT and other payment service providers, cloud and hosting service providers, verification and due-diligence agencies, logistics and transportation service providers, professional advisors, and governmental or statutory authorities, where such disclosure is required by law, regulatory directive, contractual obligation, or operational necessity for the functioning of the Platform.

All such disclosures are made in furtherance of lawful purposes, and wherever applicable, UOI requires such third parties to adhere to reasonable confidentiality and data protection obligations. UOI does not control, and shall not be responsible or liable for, any independent processing, storage, or use of information carried out by such third parties in accordance with their own privacy practices or legal obligations.

NexG Petrolube Private Limited through this platform implements reasonable administrative, technical, and organisational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, loss, or misuse, in accordance with applicable law and industry practices. Users acknowledge and agree that, despite such measures, no digital transmission, storage system, or platform can be guaranteed to be completely secure or risk free.

Information is stored on secure servers located in India or such other jurisdictions as may be permitted under applicable law. Data is retained only for such periods as are legally mandated or reasonably necessary for operational, compliance, audit, dispute resolution, or enforcement purposes, after which it may be securely deleted, anonymised, or archived, subject to statutory requirements.

Subject to the provisions of applicable law users may request access to, correction of, updating of, or deletion of their personal data held by NexG Petrolube Private Limited. Such requests shall be considered in accordance with statutory requirements, legitimate business purposes, and operational or legal limitations, including data retention obligations and ongoing compliance, audit, or dispute-resolution requirements.

Users may withdraw consent for the processing of personal data at any time. However, users acknowledge that withdrawal of consent or deletion of mandatory information may result in restriction, suspension, or termination of access to the Platform and associated services, without liability on the part of UOI.
